Old and the new
Sure I keep an online blog and a PDA to bring around but I still tend to write things down on a pen and paper. Even when brainstorming or being stump on a problem ,The pen and paper gets me moving.
I scribble, draw, and even flowchart on the paper then simply transfer to my laptop for a more formal look.
Anyone who has worked with me knows when God was showering good penmanship I was off on the other side where he showered the talent for useless trivia.
So with my cryptic handwriting, which my mom swears until now that, I keep on practice writing heheh.
I have gotten a hold of a moleskin notebook. Aficionados swear by it say it’s the same notebook Van Gogh, Chatwin, Hemingway, Matisse and Céline wrote on. Trust me my penmanship still remains unreadable even if I am writing on the master’s notebook.
It feels and looks better then your average notebook. The leather cover is good to touch quite pricey for about $10 USD considering my mom bought me 1 pesos notebooks in Divisoria. Its acid free paper supposed to keep my scribbles intact for generation to come. For reason I swear I don’t know why they would want to read it. Maybe my grandchildren would try to decipher the ramblings of their grandpapa giving them clues to the life he lived in which the fruits they enjoyed and what made him long after the battery of my Treo 650 died out.
